On Thursday morning, Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan arrived in Nadi, Western Fiji. They were there to attend a special event at Nadi Airport.

For the occasion, the Duchess chose a stunning green dress that showed off her baby bump. The emerald/forest green dress was by Taiwanese Canadian designer Jason Wu.

Duchess Meghan’s midi dress appeared straightforward at first glance but it actually featured pleated shoulder details and angular sleeves. She accessorized her look with gold leaf Pippa Small drop earrings and matching bangles.

Pippa Small is an ethical fashion brand that started in Notting Hill in 2007. The brand then opened a concession in New York at ABC Carpet & Home.

Prince Harry, 34, opted for a light gray suit and brown shoes. After an official welcome ceremony, the couple unveiled a statue to commemorate Sergeant Talaisi Labalaba who was a British-Fijian soldier who died heroically in battle.

Labalaba was a Fijian member of the elite British Special Air Service (SAS). Forty-six years ago, he single-handedly held off 250 attackers from taking an army base.

In 1972, he gave his life trying to defend his fellow soldiers at the Battle of Mirbat, in what is now Yemen. The special occasion was also attended by the Fijian President Jioji Konrote, senior representatives from the government, and the Armed Forces.

At Nadi Harry also drank another ceremonial bowl of kava which is a non-alcoholic drink traditionally served at social events. Despite the herb being used to treat anxiety, there are concerns about its effect on the liver.

After the ceremony, the Royal couple boarded a Qantas charter fight for the South Pacific nation of Tonga. This is the third country they are visiting during their16-day trip on behalf of the Queen.

On arrival, Harry and Meghan, 37, received an official welcome from Her Royal Highness Princess Angelika Latufuipeka at the airport. Later on, they will be the guests of honor at another welcome reception and dinner in Nuku'alofa.

In attendance will be the Tongan ruler, King Tupou VI and his wife, Queen Nanasipau'u. There will also be traditional Tongan entertainment.

Meghan has worn another shade of green during their tour. On the first day of their Australian tour, she wore a khaki maxi dress by US designer Brandon Maxwell.

She’d changed from a white one by Australian designer Karen Gee.
