Iconic "Family Feud" host and actor Steve Harvey, 66, previously shared with a news outlet that when he and his family celebrate the festive season, fundamental staples include indulging in fried oysters and eggnog with his sons.

While speaking on their traditions, Steve explained, "...My sons come over every Christmas morning, and that happens...I like oysters, I like [Sister] Schubert's rolls, and I like eggnog. Put them on the same plate; I'm happy.

According to Steve's wife, Marjorie Harvey, the whole family is big on food and loves to eat; she enjoys baking and whipping up delicious treats for their grandkids. They enjoy their tasty cuisine in a well-decorated house, too.

A few years ago, Marjorie opened the doors to their home at Christmas time. While discussing their traditions in their extravagantly decorated home, she added another cuisine must-have item to Steve's food list apart from eggnog and fried oysters: fried gizzards. This unique blend of food has sentimental value to the comedic star, as those were some things he would eat with his father as a young boy.

When it comes to Christmas decorations, one new tradition that the Harvey family does is decorating a special tree with family pictures and putting an elf on the shelf in the grandchildren's room. They also enjoy wrapping up the day by playing a few board games.

In 2018, Julia Roberts, 56, sat down for an interview where she discussed her favorite Christmas pastimes. According to the "Pretty Woman" star, when it comes to music, her favorite Christmas song is "Little Drummer Boy," and as it pertains to gift-giving, she considers herself pretty good at getting the perfect gift.

The top-pick holiday movies she enjoyed as a child were "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's a Wonderful Life." Regarding favorite festive meals, the A-list star divulged, "Well, Christmas dinner—a good hearty Christmas dinner. And I do enjoy the practical challenge of Christmas morning mealtime because you don't want too much, you don't want to spoil 'em off the bat, you gotta keep a steady blood level going where you don't get crazy before the late big meal..."

Her ideal Christmas meal includes a dish that has biscuits or sausage balls and fruit. Of her guilty pleasure during the festive season, Roberts revealed, "Eating cookies for breakfast before I wake up my kids and tell them they can't have cookies for breakfast..."

Two years ago, Hollywood legend and silver fox George Clooney, 62, spoke about his family's Christmas traditions, and he revealed how his kids would write notes to Santa and leave milk and cookies for the jolly, white-bearded character.

Clooney also highlighted his technique in getting his kids to behave during the holidays, which works like a charm. Describing his method, he said, "They're like little terminators, and so I devised a way to get them to behave...when they're asleep in the morning...they start to make noises...you can hear the two of them getting at each other...and I stand outside the door, and I go, 'Oh hey, hi Santa!... What are you doing here, Santa?''...' Im just making sure that the kids are being good kids.'..."

Hollywood icon Sandra Bullock, 59, previously shared that she and her family celebrate what is considered a German Christmas, meaning they celebrate on Christmas Eve.

However, when it comes to the process of preparing for the occasion, Bullock stated, "The problem with that is whoever's doing the Christmas has to send everyone else out. Cause you have a bare tree, and then everyone comes back, and the Christmas angels have left all the presents. So, it's either a beautiful, peaceful process when everyone leaves the house, but then you have to do all the work."

As for the cuisine, you guessed it, it's German-inspired as well and consists of Bavarian sausages, sauerkraut, and asparagus, even though she admitted to not eating the asparagus or the sauerkraut. What makes Christmas especially exciting for Bullock is her kids, whom she makes the day extra special for.

It's all about building excitement and anticipation for their kids, who are met with the giant veil of wrapping right before bursting into their living room to see their gifts.

Although Bullock usually goes all out for Christmas, 2018 saw her dial things back a bit. Instead of focusing on making a lavish spread of celebrations, she and her family decided to think of others less fortunate. She recounted, "We said, 'Why don't we just make this (holiday) about other people? And they were amazing about it. So Christmas is three small gifts."

Last year, the powerhouse performer and actress Jennifer Lopez, 54, shared details about how she celebrated Christmas with her hubby, Ben Affleck, and their blended family. In her newsletter, "On The JLO," Lopez spoke about how she enjoys creating a theme for each holiday and centered 2022's Christmas festivities around the hummingbird.

More than just a song title on her upcoming album, hummingbirds are considered as messengers of love for the singer. She identifies with their agility and speed, which enable them to have moments where they stop to eat something sweet and smell flowers. She also mentioned spotting a hummingbird as a sign from God that all will be well.

From the tree to the dress code, which saw Lopez adorn a chic Gucci dress, everything was hummingbird-inspired. As part of the jovial and familial Christmas party, Latin cuisine made up a considerable part of the menu.

When it comes to Christmas, Hollywood star Jennifer Garner, 51, gets particularly excited, so much so that she starts decorating and planning for the event over a month before. When November 1 hits, Garner's abode transforms into Christmas central, as confirmed by the festive photo (seen below) posted to her social media in 2017. For Garner, what gives traditions meaning is the ability to keep them going over time.

An essential staple she makes for her family every Christmas is her delectable beef bourguignon, which she is particularly passionate about. At one point in her video where she showed viewers how she creates the dish, Garner even set the dish ablaze by adding too much Cognac.

Nevertheless, the food still looked scrumptious. Garner may just be the Christmas queen, as one time, she even made her own Christmas ornaments from scratch.

Christmas time in Stefani and Blake Shelton's household is all about the journey of getting to the main event: the gifts. Speaking to a media outlet, Stefani mentioned, "Santa comes to our house, and he takes the gift wrap and wraps so you can't see into where the presents are, and then they have to crash through it, and that was our family tradition..."

Stefani gave fans a glimpse into the fun tradition when she posted a short video showing her three boys excitedly running to the living room. Once there, they are met with a huge sheet of gift wrapping paper, which acts as a veil hiding away the gifts waiting for them on the other side. It's all about building excitement and anticipation for their kids, who then crash into the wrapping and rush to their gifts.

Interestingly enough, like Garner, Stefani also begins festive preparations way in advance due to her love of Christmas and holidays in general.

Whether it's a focus on gifts, food, or decorations, the aforementioned celeb Christmas traditions show that though they may be stars, they enjoy celebrating the festive season in a lot of the same ways many people do.
